The Charger men's soccer team dropped a narrow 4-3 decision to Dakota Wesleyan Wednesday evening in Mitchell, South Dakota.

Briar Cliff got on the board in the 17
th minute, as
Andrew Buchanan scored to break the tie. The Tigers quickly scored less than a minute after play resumed to even the score.
Yalin Alici scored in the 27
th minute to put the Chargers up 2-1.

The Tigers then scored three straight goals to take a 4-2 lead in the 63
rd minute.

Edvard Orseth scored in the 87
th minute off an assist from
Hugo Mariage to cut the lead to one. The Chargers created chances in the final moments, but both shot attempts were turned away by the Tigers.

The Chargers will return to action next Wednesday for the regular season finale as they host the Warriors of Waldorf for senior day.
