The Charger football team fell 49-0 on the road to #25 Dordt Saturday afternoon. "We didn't play well collectively to win the game," said Head Coach Shane Ladage. "I thought we showed glimpses of good football, but the consistency wasn't there. I'm confident we will rebound against Jamestown.

The Defenders jumped off to a 21-0 lead with 4:54 remaining in the first half after a 48-yard rushing touchdown from Nick Wellen.

Angel Nava-Esparza led the team in tackles with nine tackles.
Jason Freeman recorded eight tackles and one tackle-for-loss.
MJ Montgomery recorded eight tackles and a team lead two tackles-for-loss.
Jesus Escalante recorded the Chargers lone sack in the afternoon.
