Briar Cliff Esports head coach Jack Moehrke has announced the addition of Katie Rein to his 2022-23 League of Legends roster. Rein joins the Cliff from West Linn, Oregon and will also serve as the varsity team's manager.
 
"Katarina Rein will be an essential part of the BCU League of Legends teams," said Moehrke. "Coming in as the Mid Laner for the JV team she will also assist as Manager for the League of Legends Rosters."
 
A graduate of West Linn High school, Rein was a part of the Academic Debate Club, art, and robotics. She was a member of the Honor Roll and the environmental science CTE.
 
Rein is the daughter of Christine and Richard Rein and has one sister. Her anticipated major at the Cliff is environmental science.
