The Briar Cliff basketball teams head crosstown Saturday to battle Morningside in Allee Gym. The women's game is set to tip at 2 p.m., with the men's game at 3:45 p.m.
The RV Chargers look to avenge an earlier season loss to the Mustangs. BC is 15-9 (11-6) and have won three of their last four games. The Chargers hold opponents to a conference low 27.1% from deep. The Mustangs are sit atop the conference standings at 20-4 (15-2 GPAC), but fell to Dordt 85-73 Wednesday night. On the men's side, the #25 Chargers bounced back with a 74-63 win over Mount Marty Wednesday and are 16-7 (12-3 GPAC). Over the last four games, Vesey has averaged 17.0 points per game on 60.0% shooting with 14 3-pointers and eight steals.
