Charger men's volleyball took its second loss in as many days Saturday afternoon to #4 Missouri Baptist at the Grand View Molten Invitational in Des Moines, Iowa. BC did take the third set 25-20, but fell in sets one, two and four 25-16, 25-18, 25-23.

Brandon Oswald each registered double-digit kills for the Cliff with 11 each.Â
Kimo Rosa added six kills with no errors for a swing rate of .545 and had a team-high six blocks.
After dropping sets one and two, the Chargers gave themselves a chance by winning the third game of the afternoon. The set stayed tight throughout, with neither team leading by more than three until a 5-0 run by BC ended the game. With the teams tied at 20-all, BC took advantage of three attack errors by the Spartans and a kill each fromÂ

BC stayed in range of Missouri Baptist in the fourth set, never trailing by more than three, but in the end the Spartans escaped with the victory.Â
Kyle Cox handled the setting duties, dishing out 24 assists in the contest while adding seven digs and two kills.Â
Noah Marasco-Ayau had a team-high 12 digs and helped Cox out with five assists.
Three Spartans were in double figures, led by Miljan Kastratovic with 19 K's. Jason Harman had 47 assists and Luka Cajic had 15 digs.Â
The Cliff will return home to the Newman Flanagan Center to host Dordt Tuesday night. Opening serve against the Defenders is set for 7 p.m.
