The 2018 season will be Riley Reid’s first as a graduate assistant with the Chargers as he will coach the tight ends in his first year with the program.

Reid has experience coaching at both the high school and college levels as he coached the offensive line at Lincoln Community High School in Lincoln, Illinois and he coached the defensive line at his alma mater, Illinois College, as well.

While playing on the offensive line at Illinois College, Reid was named Academic All-Conference his senior year and graduated with honors with a bachelor’s of education with a focus in physical education.  He started two years on the offensive line and was a part of the sixth best red zone offense in the nation at the D3 level and he helped the team rush for over 200 yards in 13 games.
