Graeson Trevino joined the Briar Cliff athletic department as an Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach in May of 2026.
Trevino previously served as the Assistant Football Coach and Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach at Cornell College. His responsibilities included coaching the defensive line, recruiting, practice organization, and overseeing strength and conditioning programs for several athletic teams.
Trevino spent time as a Graduate Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach at Midwestern State University while earning his Master of Science in Exercise Physiology. During his time with the Mustangs, he assisted in the training and development of numerous nationally ranked programs, including women's tennis, men's tennis, golf, track & field, cross country, football, and men's basketball. He played a role in the development of conference champions, national qualifiers, All-Americans, and multiple school record holders.
A native of northwest Iowa, Trevino earned dual bachelor's degrees in Fitness Management and Health Studies and Business Management and Administration from Wartburg College in 2023. He completed his master's degree in Exercise Physiology from Midwestern State University in 2025.
Trevino holds several professional certifications, including Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), USA Weightlifting Level 1 Coach, Coaching Certification, and AED/First Aid/CPR certification.
