Saw action in 19 sets … Had career-highs of five kills and five block assists against UHSP (Aug. 23).
Saint Croix Central High School:
As a senior, was the recipient of the Spirit of the Middle Border Conference … In her junior year, she led the team in kills, was team MVP and named to the All-MBC first team … Two-time team captain … She helped the Panthers win three conference championships and to reach the third round of the Division 2 State Tournament … In track & field, she set the school record in the long jump and was all-conference in four events … Qualified for the state tournament in powerlifting as a sophomore … Was Class Valedictorian with a 4.00 G.P.A.
Personal:
Daughter of Tammy Merth … Her twin brother Nolan plays football at UW-Eau Claire … Merth is planning on majoring in Psychology.
