Connor Sonius enters his first year as an assistant coach for the Briar Cliff University women's basketball program.
Prior to joining the Chargers, Sonius spent two years as a graduate assistant for the Grand View University men's basketball team. During the 2021-22 season, Sonius helped lead the Vikings to an appearance in the opening round of the NAIA National Tournament, while also being the head coach of the Junior Varsity program.
Sonius played college basketball at Grand View University before starting his collegiate coaching career. He graduated from Grand View with a bachelor's degree in Kinesiology in 2020 and a master's degree in Sport Management in 2021.
