Biography

2014-15: Played in 30 games during senior year at Briar Cliff...averaged 2.1 ppg and 2.2 rpg...scored 64 points and grabbed 65 rebounds (38 defensive, 27 offensive)...notched 21 assists, five steals and two blocks on the year.

2013-14: Third year at BCU...played in all 31 games for the Chargers with 11 starts...scored 201 points to average 6.5 ppg and was tied for the team lead in rebounds per game with 4.1 (126 total rebounds, 43 offensive and 83 defensive)...shot 44.9 percent from the field (62-138). 

2012-13: Second year with Briar Cliff...played in 31 games and scored 159 points to average 5.1 ppg while shooting 39.7 percent from the field.

2011-12: First year with the Charger program...saw action in 19 games...shot 52.9 percent from the field.

HS: Basketball and football standout at Denison High School...two-time second team all-state, first team Hawkeye 10 and first team all-district selection...earned second team all-state honors at quarterback, senior year...honor roll member.

PERSONAL: Son of Rick and Marlene Torres…elementary education major…favorite snack food is Gushers...pre-game rituals include praying...would like to play football if not in basketball.
