2018: Played in all 11 games for BC and was named second team All-GPAC. Rushed for 1,125 yards and six TDs. Also caught nine passes for 113 yards and two touchdowns and threw a 56-yard touchdown pass. Was the leading factor in the team breaking a school record with 2,069 team rushing yards on the season. Top performance came against Dordt with 199 rushing yards and two touchdowns. Finished his career with the Blue and Gold as the top rusher in program history with 3,387 yards and 17 touchdowns.
2017: Named second team All-GPAC…rewrote the Charger record books this season as he became the first 1,000-yard rusher in BC history and finished the year with 1,334 yards on the ground. Ylagan also set school records for the most carries in a game (41), rushing yards in a game (265), most 100-yard games in a season (6) and most rushing TD’s in a season (8). Ylagan had two 200-yard rushing performances on the year, running for 265 yards and two TD’s on 33 carries at Dakota Wesleyan and he rushed 41 times for 218 yards and a score at Hastings. Ylagan averaged 121.3 rushing yards and 5.1 yards per carry. With the help of Ylagan, BC piled up a school record of 2,013 rushing yards on the season, breaking the old school record of 1,337 rushing yards.
2016: Competed in 11 games for the Cliff...notched 681 yards on 192 carries to go a touchdown...hauled in 21 receptions for 139 yards and two touchdowns...attempted two passes...accounted for three solo tackles...punted 40 times for 1,298 yards...went three for five on field goals with the longest make coming from 30 yards out against Midland.
2015: Played in nine games for the Chargers as a freshman...was second on the team in rushing with 247 yards and two touchdowns on 61 carries, averaging 4.0 yards per carry...racked up a season-high 125 yards on 15 carries and scored two TDs against Dordt...also had eight receptions for 88 yards.
HS: Four-time letterwinner for the Wolfpack of West Hills High School (two in football, one in baseball, one in track)...offensive player of the year as a senior.
Personal: Son of Rick and Patricia Ylagan...kinesiology major.
