2017: Received honorable mention All-GPAC honors...competed in nine games for the Cliff and was fifth on the team in tackles with 50 (34 solo, 16 assisted). He also had one interception against Dakota State and he broke up three passes on the year...his best tackling performance was 12 takedowns against Dakota State...he recorded nine tackles against both Midland and Doane.
2016: Appeared in 10 games as a junior...notched 38 tackles (18 solo, 20 assisted) to go with a TFL...returned three interceptions for 69 yards and disrupted seven passes...earned honorable mention All-GPAC honors.
2015: Played in all 11 games for the Chargers as a sophomore...was named second team all-GPAC...was third on the team in tackles with 64 (38 solo, 26 assisted)...also had 5.0 tackles for loss for 15 yards and one sack for five yards.
2014: Did not appear in any games for the Cliff during freshman season.
HS: 14-time letterwinner for the Falcons of West Sioux High School (four each in football and track, three in baseball, two in basketball, and one in wrestling)...baseball honorable mention as freshman, sophomore, and junior...second team all-conference in football as a junior...first team all-conference as a senior.
Personal: Son of Todd and Dawn Ericson...history/criminology major...favorite snack is peanut butter sandwhiches...would like to play for Vince Lombardi...would like to play baseball if not in football.
