HS: Five-time letterwinner for the Flashes of Franklin Central High School (three in football, two in wrestling)...MVP linebacker as a senior. 

Personal: Son of Kevin Szerszen and Kelly Meile...biology major...hobbies include fishing...eats Fruity Pebbles for breakfast...pre-game rituals include listening to music.
