2018: Did not participate in any contests for BC.

HS: The four-time letter winner was for the Sergeant Bluff Warriors...(three in football and one in wrestling). Senior year he was awarded Most Improved Player and All-State Honorable Mention for football and Most Improved Player and he placed second in the conference for wrestling. 

Personal: Jacob is the son of Jimmy and Jill Sponder and he has one brother and two sisters. He is a business major.
