2017: Played in 10 games this for the Cliff…recorded 13 tackles (11 solo, two assisted) and one interception. His best game was four tackles (three solo, one assisted) against Dordt and his pick came against Doane.

2016: Did not play in any games during his first season as a Charger.

HS: 11-time letterwinner for the Academy High School Lions (4 in football, 4 in track, 3 in baseball)...first team all-district as a junior in football...first team all-conference, all-busch country cornerback and defensive most valuable player in football as a senior.

Personal: Son of Joey and Lupita Cordero...biology major.
