Ryan Ross was named Offensive Line Coach / Recruiting Coordinator on February of 2025.
Ross previously served as the Defensive Line / Special Team's Coordinator at Dakota State University.. The Trojan defense this past season ranked 13th in the NAIA in points per game, 10th in yards allowed per contest, and were second in the NSAA in sacks with 25. He coached two All-NSAA selections along the defensive line and two All-NSAA selections and punter and place kicker.
During his two years as a graduate assistant at Briar Cliff, he mentored The Cliff's all-time sack leader in MJ Montgomery, who earned all-conference selections and posted 17.5 sacks and 27.5 tackles for loss during the stretch. In 2023, the Chargers posted 24 sacks ranking 4th in the GPAC and 3rd in school history.
An alum of Briar Cliff, Ross played five seasons for the Charger football team from 2017-2021.
