Kendrick Wade joined the Briar Cliff staff in 2019 to lead the Charger wide receivers.

Wade came to the Cliff after coaching at his alma mater, Mississippi Valley State University. Wade received his bachelor's and master's degrees from MVSU and was named to the MVSU All-Decade Football Team (2000-10) after being named the team's Most Outstanding Wide Receiver in 2004, the season in which he broke a school record for the longest receiving touchdown (82 yards).

Before playing for MVSU, Wade was a two-sport athlete at Coahoma Community College (football and baseball). As a sophomore, Wade was named MVP of his football team and named to the Junior College All-Star Team. After his collegiate career ended, Wade played four years of arena football in Texas and Arkansas.
