Briar Cliff University

Anttonio Brown is in his first season as an assistant coach at Briar Cliff.

Brown is originally from Northwest Washington D.C., where he played multiple positions including running back, wide receiver, cornerback, safety and linebacker at Parkdale High School. After graduating high school, Brown played at Virginia University of Lynchburg. While at Lynchburg, he played several positions and was named to the 2011 USCAA Academic All-American team. In 2014, Brown played in an FCS bowl game.

After graduating with a criminal justice major, Brown played professionally with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers (CFL) and the Jacksonville Sharks in 2015. In 2017, Brown spent mini camp with the Arizona Rattlers.

Brown played the 2018 season with the Sioux City Bandits, recording 61 tackles and four interceptions at the safety position. He is set to suit up again for the Bandits in 2019.
