The Briar Cliff men's golf team wrapped up competition at the Blue River Classic Thursday, finishing 11th overall after three rounds at The Highlands Golf Course in Lincoln, NE.

The Chargers finished the tournament with a team score of +43, shooting a +17 in the final round.

Logan Collette led the Chargers in the final round, firing a career best as a Charger of 70 (-2) to finish tied for 32nd individually at +4 for the tournament. Collette finished strong, shooting a 34 on the back nine.

Thomas Goetz finished tied for 43rd at +10, while Wongsakorn Fankumsai finished tied for 45th at +11. Braden Fleischman finished tied for 63rd at +20, and Alfie Henderson finished 75th at +25.

"Today was another steady round for the men. Logan took the reins today and fired his BCU career-best,  with a great finish his last stretch of holes. Team-wise, we can't overlook the fact our lowest scorer was a different player every round. When we put it all together, it will get really fun," head coach Ben Irlbeck said.
