The Briar Cliff women's golf team earned national academic recognition after posting the second-highest team GPA among all NAIA programs, the Women's Golf Coaches Association announced.

The Chargers received the 2025-26 WGCA All-Scholar Team GPA Award, which honors collegiate women's golf programs with the highest cumulative grade-point averages. The award includes all student-athletes on each program's roster during the 2025-26 academic year.

Briar Cliff finished with a 3.834 cumulative team GPA, ranking second among all NAIA institutions recognized by the WGCA.
