CHARGER SOFTBALL CONTINUES GPAC SLATE WITH THREE THIS WEEK

The Charger softball team returns to action this Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday. Briar Cliff travels to Orange City, Iowa, Wednesday evening to take on the Northwestern Red Raiders. Game times are set for 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m.

Friday, Briar Cliff returns home for another conference doubleheader, hosting the Waldorf Warriors. Game times are set for 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m.

BCU finishes off the week, heading to Omaha, NE to take on the College of Saint Mary's Flames. Game one is set to start at 1:00 p.m. with game two slated for 3:00 p.m.

The Chargers return back to action following a short break. Last time on the field BCU traveled to Mitchell, SD taking on Dakota Wesleyan and fell in both contests.

The Chargers and the Red Raiders last took action to end the 2025 conference season. BCU dropped the set 10-0 and 9-0 at home. 

Kaydence Kinder led for Briar Cliff with two hits.

Schmalbeck led for the Red Raiders with two hits and an RBI.

Last Time Out Against the Warriors:
Briar Cliff and Waldorf faced off in a doubleheader last conference season in Forest City, Iowa. The Chargers and Warriors split the double-header with BCU taking the first game 6-5 before falling in the second game 7-11.

Ebel led for the Cliff with three hits and two RBIs in the series. Kenadee Loew followed with two hits and an RBI.

For the Warriors, Ridout led with three hits between the contests. 

Last Time Out Against the Flames:
The Chargers and the Flames last competed in the 2025 season at Hubbard Park in Sioux City. Briar Cliff fell in both games 6-4 and 14-11.

Loew led the Chargers with two hits and a run scored, followed by Kaela Persico who also had two hits an RBI and a run scored.

Campbell led the Flames with five hits, two RBIs and three runs scored.
