Jarrod Gilliam and Dante Rigal have earned bids to compete at the NAIA Wrestling Championships, set for March 5–7 in Park City, Kansas.
Gilliam, a redshirt senior from Tulsa, Oklahoma, secured his bid after placing fourth in the 133-pound bracket at the GPAC Conference Tournament. He holds an 18-12 overall record this season, including an 18-9 mark against NAIA opponents. In the final national rankings, Gilliam sits No. 20 at 133 pounds.
Rigal, a redshirt junior, received an at-large selection to the national tournament. He posted a 19-11 overall record and went 14-8 against NAIA competition. Rigal finished sixth at the GPAC Tournament and tallied 14 pins, three major decisions, and 17 bonus-point victories this season. He is ranked No. 22 nationally in the final 133-pound standings.
Gilliam and Rigal will open competition at the national tournament on March 5 at 10 a.m. in Park City, Kansas.
