The Briar Cliff men's basketball team put together a complete performance on the road Wednesday night, earning a 92–75 victory over the Dakota Wesleyan Tigers.
The Chargers set the tone early, taking a 44–37 lead into halftime behind efficient shooting and strong ball movement. BCU continued to control the pace in the second half, pouring in 48 points while limiting the Tigers' scoring opportunities to pull away and secure the road win.
Blake Sindelar led all scorers with a game-high 25 points, shooting 7-of-13 from the field and knocking down five three-pointers.
Wil Lugar followed with 19 points and five assists, while
Jaxson Wingert added 15 points on a perfect 6-of-6 effort from the free-throw line.
Ryan Kleppe chipped in 12 points, and
Colby Collison tallied 10 points and a team-high nine rebounds.
BCU shot an impressive 58.0% from the field and 41.7% from beyond the arc, while also converting 82.8% of its free throws. Briar Cliff won the rebounding battle 38–23 and recorded 16 assists on 29 made field goals.
With the win, the Chargers improve to 12–10 overall and 9–6 in GPAC play. They return to action on Wednesday, February 4, hosting the Northwestern Red Raiders. Tip-off is set for 7:45 p.m.
