The Charger track and field team were in action Saturday, competing at the Dennis Young Indoor Classic in Storm Lake, Iowa.

For the women's side,
Kristen Mika hit a personal best in the shot put with a best throw of 10.13 meters. She also recorded a personal best in the weight throw with a mark of 11.57 meters.

On the men's side,
Jayson Rucker finished fourth in the 60m with a mark of 7.19 seconds in the finals and hitting a new personal best.
Colin Rhynalds finished ninth in the 60m hurdles with a time of 9.88 seconds.

Rucker finished eighth in the 200m with a time of 23.69 seconds. David Utsi-Grinde finished the 200m with a time of 24.68 seconds.

Blake Hogancamp in the shot put finished fifth with a mark of 12.63 meters. He also finished eighth in the weight throw with a mark of 10.86 meters.Â
James Nagle posted a season best in the mile with a mark of 5:15.18.

The Charger track and field team will return to action January 30-31 as they travel to Seward, Nebraska for the Concordia Classic.
