The Charger men's basketball team dropped their road contest against the Northwestern Red Raiders 100-73 in Orange City, Iowa Wednesday evening.
Blake Sindelar and
Jaxson Wingert paced the Chargers in scoring with 20 a piece in the contest. Wingert went eight-for-10 from the field. Sindelar shot 50% from the field and knocked down three triples in the contest.
Colby Collison finished with eight points and grabbed six rebounds in the contest.
The Red Raiders in the first half went 20-for-31 shooting from the floor and went eight-for-11 from three to build a 54-35 lead heading into the break.
Northwestern converted on 60.6% from the floor. Jalen Langsy scored 41 points for the Red Raiders and went 17-for-24 from the floor.
The Chargers slide to 9-9 (6-5 GPAC) and will return to the Newman Flanagan Center this Saturday, as they host the Mount Marty Lancers on Hall of Fame Weekend. Tip-off is scheduled for 3:45 p.m.
