The Charger football team are receiving votes in the latest NAIA Coaches' Top 25 poll in a release Monday afternoon. Other GPAC institutions in the Top 25 include the 4
th ranked Morningside Mustangs, 13
th ranked Dordt Defenders, 19
th ranked Concordia Bulldogs, and the 22
nd ranked Northwestern Red Raiders. Mount Marty is also receiving votes in the latest poll.

The Chargers are off to a 4-1 start for just the second time in program history. The Chargers have won three straight including a win over RV Mount Marty.

During the three-game stretch, the Charger defense has held opponents to 14.3 points per game. They rank second in the GPAC in interceptions with seven and second in the conference in sacks with 14.

Max Rascon Jr. leads the team in tackles with 40.
Dayton Harrell leads the team in interceptions with two.

Brock Saya ranks second in the conference in both passing yards per game and touchdown passes, averaging 279.4 yards per contest and has thrown 10 touchdown passes.

Kymani Fleurme ranks third in the GPAC in receiving yards per contest with 91.8, while
Steven Whiting ranks second in the GPAC in receiving touchdowns with four this season.

Chase Thomas is tied for second in the GPAC in rushing touchdowns with four.
