The Charger men's soccer team fell to the Concordia Bulldogs 1-0 in Seward, Nebraska Saturday afternoon.
Angjelos Arapi looked to put the Chargers up early, but his shot was turned away by Nolan Fuelberth.
At the 16
th minute, Concordia looked to capitalize off a corner kick, as Jasper Hofland's header hit the crossbar. Hofland would fire three more shots off the rebound, but were all blocked by the Charger defense.
The Bulldogs in the 36
th minute would find the back of the net to go up 1-0.
Gabriel Hernandez Les led the team with four shots with two on goal. Giussepe Marrix and Arapi each attempted three shots.
Xabier Ilundain recorded 12 saves in the contest.
The Chargers move to 4-4-1 overall (1-1-1 GPAC) and will host the Midland Warriors next Saturday on Faber Field. Kickoff is scheduled for 1:00 p.m.
