Sierra Brooks fired a shot, but was turned away by the Spires' Avah Casarez.

Ellen Lofsjogard's shot hit the crossbar.

Saint Mary broke the scoring drought in the 69
th minute with a goal from Nieves Vazquez. They added a brace in the 81
st minute with a goal from Sadie Dipman.

Ondine Manceau both recorded two shots in the contest.
Caitlin Anderholm recorded four saves in the match.

The Chargers fall to 2-4 and will open GPAC play next Saturday, as they host the Tigers of Doane. Kickoff is slated for 3:30Â p.m.
