The Charger men's soccer team fell 3-1 to the 9
th ranked Bellevue Bruins Saturday evening in Bellevue, Nebraska.
The Bruins struck early in the 10
th minute of the match, as Jeremiah Hteh scored off an assist from Buster Honeywood.
BCU tied the game in the 56
th minute as
Alejandro Illan scored off an assist from
Pablo Gonzalez.
Bellevue would score two more goals to take the 3-1 victory.
Ferdinand Ovrevik Dahl recorded three saves in his start at keeper for the Chargers. Illan led the team in shots with three. Gonzalez and
Alex Johnson each recorded a shot.
Both teams were even in corner kicks with five each.
The Chargers move to 3-3 and will open GPAC play against the Tigers of Doane next Saturday at Faber Field. Kickoff is scheduled for 1:00PM
