The Chargers defeated the Dakota State Trojans 4-1 on Faber Field Wednesday afternoon.

The Trojans struck first in the 23
rd minute to take an early lead. From then on it was all The Cliff as they scored four unanswered goals.

Sadie Jones put the Chargers up 1-0 in the 39
th minute off an assist from
Sierra Brooks.
Tamzin Hilton found the back of the net in the 40
th minute from an assist from
Ondine Manceau.

Opening the second half, Brooks scored in the 46
th minute from a feed from Manceau. Brooks capped off the scoring in the 59
th minute with her second goal of the match off an assist from
Farrah Thompson.

Caitlin Anderholm recorded three saves in 59 minutes at keeper while
Kinley Wood played 30 minutes and made one save.

Ellen Lofsjogard recorded three shots with all on target.

The Chargers improve to 2-3 on the season and will return to action this Saturday, as they host the Spires of Saint Mary on Faber Field. Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m.
