The Charger track and field team competed at the USD Early Bird Meet in Vermillion, South Dakota April 5-6.

Tinotenda Musariri finished fourth in the 200m with a mark of 22.35 seconds.
Daryl Moppins posted a mark of 23.06 while
Jayson Rucker finished with a mark of 23.09.

In the 100m,
Wilton George finished 5
th with a time of 10.84 seconds. Musariri finished in 10.94 seconds. George also finished 7
th in the 110m hurdles with a mark of 15.34 seconds.

In the 1500m,
Connor Antonino finished with a time of 4:50.37 while
Nathan MacClure finished in 4:50.40. Jehan King finished 17
th in the shot put with a best mark of 12.42 meters.

Lilly Peters finished 19
th in the discus with a best mark of 35.11 meters.
Jade Mammen posted a best throw of 28.21 meters.

In the javelin, Peters finished 11
th with a best mark of 35.11 meters.

Maria Russell finished the 5000m with a mark of 20:44.56.

The 4x100 relay team of George, Musariri, Rucker, and Moppins placed second with a time of 42.04.

The Chargers will return to action next weekend, as they compete in the Sioux City Relays.
