The Charger golf team kicked off their spring season, competing in the Columbia Spring Invitational in Columbia Missouri.
 
After round one, the Charger women's golf team sit in second place and trail Columbia by 10 strokes.
 
Helene Getz Bergmo paces the Chargers and is third overall in the tournament after posting a 80 (+8) in the first round. Getz Bergmo began the day with a birdie on a par 5. Lucy Carter is currently 8^th overall after posting a 85 (+13) in the first round. Not far behind is Avery Beller who recorded a 89 (+17).
 
The Charger men's golf team currently sit tied for seventh with William Woods. Oliver Kardos paces the Chargers after posting a 73 (+2) in round one. Kardos recorded an eagle on hole two. He recorded a birdie on hole 13. Thavichakree Arunmala posted a 77(+6) and is in 21^st place.  Arunmala recorded a birdie on the first and last hole of the course.
 
The Chargers will return for day two of the Columbia Invitational tomorrow in Columbia, Missouri.
