A strong first quarter paved the way for the 5
th ranked Chargers to earn their 21
st victory of the season, defeating the Doane Tigers 96-67 inside the Newman Flanagan Center Saturday afternoon on Senior Day. The Chargers were lights out from long range in the contest, shooting 21-for-39 from three in the contest.

Grace Flanagan scored 20 points and shot a perfect seven-for-seven from the field and six-for-six from three-point land.
Kennedy Benne added 16 points and shot four-for-seven from beyond-the-arc.

The Chargers built a 29-12 lead in the first quarter and were in control for the entire contest. The Cliff's defense forced 20 turnovers in the contest and held the Tigers to 44% from the field.

Mallie McNair scored 20 points and recorded a team-high nine assists in the contest.
Taylor Sodeman added 10 points off the bench and drilled a pair of three-pointers.
Adrianna Webster recorded six points, seven rebounds, five assists, three blocks, and three steals in the contest.

Briar Cliff improves to 21-3 (15-3 GPAC) and will hit the road next Wednesday as they travel to Forest City, Iowa to take on the Waldorf Warriors. Tip-off is scheduled for 6 p.m.
