Jarrod Gilliam of the Charger wrestling team have been named Hilton Garden Inn Sioux City Riverfront Briar Cliff Co-Athlete of the week after they finished third in the GPAC Wrestling Tournament last weekend.

Rigal, a redshirt-sophomore from Johnson City, New York, finished third in the 125-pound bracket. He received a bye in the first round and took a forfeit win in the quarterfinal round. He dropped his semifinal bout before winning the consolation semi via pin over Noah Thorsen of Morningside. In his next match he defeated Tukker Boe of Dakota Wesleyan by pin in the third-place match.

Gilliam, a redshirt-junior from Tulsa, Oklahoma, finished third in the 133-pound bracket. He began his run with a bye, before defeating Will Farren of Dakota Wesleyan in the quarterfinal matchup. He dropped a 16-10 decision to Justin Rodriguez in the semifinal match. In the consolation bracket, he won via pin over Christian Ahren to reach the third-place match. He earned a narrow 6-4 decision over fellow Charger
Dariuz Black.
