The 8th-ranked Charger women's basketball team heads back to GPAC action this Wednesday, December 10, hosting the Morningside Mustangs. Tip-off is set for 6:00 p.m.

SCOUTING THE CHARGERS
The eighth-ranked Chargers have started the 2025 season with a 10-2 overall record and 4-2 in GPAC play, after winning their latest road matchup against the Mount Marty Lancers.
 
Mallie McNair and Abby Lee continue to pace the Charger offense, averaging 19.9 and 19.4 points per game. McNair adds 2.8 assists and 4.6 rebounds per outing, while Lee is shooting an impressive 56% from the floor and contributing 7.8 rebounds and 2 steals per game.
 
Taylor Sodeman and Kenna Mongan are also key contributors, averaging 11.6 and 10.1 points per game. Brooklyn Heineman chips in 7.8 points per game, along with a team-leading 2.4 steals and 3.9 assists.
 
SCOUTING THE MUSTANGS
The Mustangs currently sit at 7-3 overall and 3-3 in GPAC play, after winning their latest matchup against College of Saint Mary's.
 
Morningside is led by Lily Vollertsen, who averages 18.6 points per game overall and 19.8 in conference play. Vollertsen also leads the team in rebounds, grabbing 9.8 per game.
 
She's followed closely by Clancy Brown, who's averaging 12.6 points per game, and Kinsley Hall, who has 8.1. Brown also leads the Mustangs in steals per game at 2.3
