The Charger men's basketball team fell 59-98 to No. 7 Grace College Saturday afternoon in Winona Lake, Indiana.
The Chargers hung in through much of the first half before a late surge by Grace gave the Lancers a 48-30 edge at the break.
Jaxson Wingert led the Chargers, scoring 15 points and grabbing nine rebounds, while shooting 4-12 from the floor and 7-10 at the free-throw line.
Blake Sindelar matched Wingert with 15 points of his own, connecting on six of 15 attempts.
Off the bench,
Dawson Mohr provided a spark with 14 points, including three three-pointers.
The Chargers fall to 1-2 on the season and return to action Friday, Nov. 8, traveling to Mayville, North Dakota, to take on Mayville State.Â
