SCOUTING THE CHARGERS
The Chargers return to GPAC play with a 9-15 (3-10 GPAC) record after falling to Morningside this past Wednesday.
Tamika Eastman leads the BCU offense with 171 kills, averaging 2.22 per set.
Emma Brenelli falls right behind her, tallying 160 kills of her own, and Cation Firkins adds 129.
Setters
Kylie Hart and Reese Strouh direct the attack. Hart has totaled 387 assists this season at 4.61 assists per set. Strouth has recorded 138 assists at 3.21 assists per set.
Leading the backline libero is
Avery Beller, who leads the GPAC in total digs with 406 and averages 5.35 digs per set.
Joana Neves has also contributed 128 digs, and Hart has added 116. At the net,
Aubrey Hoeft has totaled an impressive 128 blocks, and
Brooklyn Voss has added 113.
SCOUTING THE RED RAIDERS
The Red Raiders return to GPAC play with a 21-3 (12-0 GPAC) record, with their only losses coming from No. 1 Eastern Oregon, No. 5 Indiana Wesleyan, and No.9 Oklahoma Wesleyan.
Stella Winterfeld leads the attack with 235 kills, while Maddy Sampson adds 171, and Zavyr Metzger records 165.
Setter Liv Reitsma directs the Northwestern offense with 485 assists (5.51 a/s), followed closely by Nyah Potthoff with 417 (4.74 a/s).
Defensively, Tierney Huss leads the team with 294 digs, followed by Sidney Oostra with 231, and Reitsma with 195. Metzger has also tallied 171 blocks, while Sampson adds 84, and Emma Westphal adds 73.
LAST TIME OUT
In their meeting earlier this 2025 season, Briar Cliff fell in straight sets. The Chargers were led by Firkins, who recorded 9 kills, while Aliyah added 8, and Voss chipped in 7. Beller paced the defense with 16 digs. For the Red Raiders, Winterfeld and Westphal each recorded 9 kills, followed by Metzger with 6.
