Gabriel Hernandez Les of the Charger men's soccer team has been named the Hilton Garden Inn Sioux City Riverfront Briar Cliff Athlete of the Week following standout performances against Dordt and Mount Marty.

Hernandez Les was a key contributor in the Chargers 1-1 draw with Dordt, recording the lone goal and three shots in the contest. He followed that with another strong showing in Briar Cliff's 5-0 victory over Mount Marty, tallying one goal and two assists while adding three shots,  with two being on target. 

Over the two-game stretch, Hernandez Les totaled two goals, two assists, and 6 shots, helping fuel the Charger offense.

The Chargers' return to action this Wednesday at Faber Field hosting the Dakota Wesleyan Tigers. Kick-off is set for 1:00 p.m.
