The Charger women's volleyball team defeated the Doane Tigers 3-1 inside the Newman Flanagan Center Saturday evening.
The Chargers took the first two sets 25-19 and 25-14. In the second set with the Chargers leading 6-4, BCU went on a 8-0 run to bolster the lead.
Emma Brenelli paved the way in the victory, recording 18 kills in the match.
Caton Firkins and
Brooklyn Voss both recorded eight kills in the match.
Reese Strouth led the team with 22 assists while
Kylie Hart recorded 18.
Aubrey Hoeft led the team with eight blocks.
Avery Beller led the team in digs with 15.
The Chargers improve to 9-14 (3-9 GPAC) and will return to action this Wednesday, as they host the Morningside Mustangs inside the Newman Flanagan Center. First serve is slated for 7:30 p.m.
