The Chargers return to GPAC play with an 8-14 (2-9 GPAC) record after dropping their latest conference matchup to Dordt this past Wednesday.
Offensively, junior
Tamika Eastman continues to pace the team with 158 kills, averaging 2.26 per set. Right behind her is
Emma Brenelli, with 133 kills, and
Caton Firkins has chipped in 116.
Running the Charger offense, setter
Kylie Hart has dished out 358 assists (4.65 per set), while
Reese Strouth has tallied 101.
On the defensive end,
Avery Beller leads the Cliff with 416 digs at 5.27 per set.
Joana Neves follows with 109, and Hart with 101. At the net,
Aubrey Hoeft adds 115 blocks, trailed closely by
Brooklyn Voss with 101.
SCOUTING THE TIGERS
The Tigers head back into GPAC action with a 12-13 (3-8 GPAC) record after dropping their latest match to No.17 Midland.
Brooke Larson leads the Tiger attack with 311 kills, while Natalie Wood adds 300, and Kate Roseland tallies 186.
Directing the offense is setter Camdyn Carpenter, who has recorded 856 assists on the season, averaging 9.62 per set.
Defensively, Kaylee Rammell leads Doane with 413 digs, followed by Larson with 257, and Carpenter with 231. Kate Roseland leads the Tigers in blocks, tallying 82, she's followed by Carpenter with 33.
LAST TIME OUT
In their last meeting of October 2024, Briar Cliff fell in straight sets. The Chargers were led by Hoeft, who recorded 9 kills, and
Aliyah Basham with 6. Hoeft also led the Chargers with 4 blocks on the night. Beller led the defense with 14 digs. For the Tigers, Wood led with 12 kills, followed by Roseland with 7.
