The Briar Cliff women's soccer team fell 3-0 on the road Wednesday evening to Dordt in Sioux Center, Iowa.
The Defenders took an early lead in the 18
th minute with a penalty kick and added two more goals before halftime to go up 3-0.
Briar Cliff continued to battle throughout the second half, creating several scoring chances.
Ondine Manceau led the Chargers with five shots, including four on goal.
Sydney Robbins added four shots, and
Farrah Thompson tallied two.Â

Caitlin Anderholm played all 90 minutes in the net for the Cliff, recording two saves.Â
The Chargers fall to 3-10-1 (1-5-1 GPAC) and will return home to Faber Field this Saturday to host Mount Marty. Kickoff is slated for 3:30 p.m.
