A late goal doomed the Chargers in their 2-1 loss to the Flames of College of Saint Mary in Omaha, Nebraska Saturday afternoon.
 
The Flames' Bella Knudtson opened the scoring in the 10^th minute with a goal off an assist from Izzie Kadavy.
 
Ellen Lofsjogard tied the contest in the 66^th minute with a goal on an assist from Ondine Manceau.
 
In the 69^th minute, the Chargers looked for a chance, but an offside was called.
 
The Flames scored the deciding goal in the 87^th minute to take the win.
 
Caitlin Anderholm recorded five saves for the Chargers. Lucy Carter recorded two shots while Farrah Thompson recorded one.
 
The Chargers move to 3-9-1 (1-4-1 GPAC) and will travel to Sioux Center, Iowa next Wednesday to take on Dordt. Kickoff is slated for 7:15 p.m. Read Full Article
