The Charger football team fell 28-0 to the visiting Red Raiders of Northwestern on Memorial Field Saturday evening.

Northwestern scored on the opening drive with a six play 63-yard drive capped off by a one-yard rush from Colby Duncan.

The Charger defense held on the Red Raiders second drive, a strip sack from
Johnny Bauser recovered by
Jackson Reblitz to keep the contest at 6-0.

Johnny Bauser led the defense with eight tackles and recorded two sacks in the contest.
Max Rascon Jr. finished with seven tackles while
Kyle Gibson recorded six tackles, 2.5 for loss, and a sack.
Ben Grear recorded an interception and finished with five tackles.

Steven Whiting recorded six catches for 39 yards while
Jayden Westbrook hauled in three catches for 38 yards.
Chase Thomas rushed for 46 yards on 11 carries.

Brock Saya went 15-for-30 passing for 120 yards.
