th ranked Chargers continue to roll, earning their 8
th straight victory as they earned a 76-63 victory over the Doane Tigers in Crete, Nebraska.

Mallie McNair paved the way for The Cliff, leading the team in points with 19 while shooting four-for-six from three and 50% from the field. McNair also went seven-for-eight from the free throw line.
Kennedy Benne added 15 points and hauled in seven rebounds.

Following a close first quarter, Briar Cliff gained momentum in the second quarter and outscored the Tigers 22-7 in the frame. The Tigers were two-for-15 from the field in the quarter and committed three turnovers. Benne scored seven points in the quarter.

The Tigers late in the contest reached within nine points of The Cliff, until a pair of free throws from McNair and Benne extended the lead to 14 with 3:03 remaining in the game.

Rachel Langel recorded a double-double with 11 points and 11 rebounds.
Grace Flanagan finished with 10 points and nine rebounds.

The Chargers improve to 16-2 (10-2 GPAC) and are set to take on the top-ranked Dordt Defenders in Sioux Center, Iowa Wednesday evening. Tip-off is scheduled for 6 p.m.
