The Charger women's soccer team fell 2-0 to the Clarke Pride Saturday afternoon in Dubuque, Iowa.
Clark struck first 25 seconds into the contest courtesy of Laryssa Pritchard off an assist from Morgan Catchur.
BCU quickly tried to answer, but shots from
Vivian Olson and
Manu Polachini were turned away by the Pride's goalie.
Jaycee Page added a brace in the 27
th minute for the Pride.
In the 63
rd minute,
Farrah Thompson created a chance, but her shot was just wide of the net.
Jaime Rowlands at keeper for BCU played all 90 minutes and made seven saves.
The Chargers will return to action next Friday as they host the Central Christian on Faber Field. Kickoff is scheduled for 12 p.m.
