The Charger volleyball team is pleased to announce the signing of Isabella (Ella) Nielsen, a middle hitter from Rembrandt, Iowa.
 
"Ella is an amazing local talent added to our roster for fall. She is a hard worker, always has a smile on her face and is a great communicator on and off the court," said Head Coach Lindsey Weatherford. "I am excited to see how she develops over the course of her four years here."
 
Nielsen prepped at Alta-Aurelia High School, where she earned 11 varsity letters for the Warriors with four in volleyball, four in basketball, and three in softball. Her senior year she was named All-Conference second team in volleyball and All-Conference third team in basketball.
 
Nielsen has also been a member of Fellowship of Christian Athletes alongside the Kindness Club at Alta-Aurelia High school. She has earned A Honor Roll, B Honor Roll, and Straight A Honor Roll during her academic career.
 
Nielsen is the daughter of Julie and Jason Nielsen. She has two sisters. Her intended major the Cliff is physical education and health.
