ORANGE CITY, Iowa – Four top 10 finishes were obtained as The Briar Cliff University men's outdoor track & field team competed at the Red Raider Open. There was a total of six PR's on the day.
In the 100-meter dash, senior Wilton George ran 10.99 to finish sixth.
In the long jump, sophomore Brayden Ingraham was sixth at 21 feet, 5.25 inches.
In the discus, freshman Dante Jones was eighth with a toss of 139 feet, two inches. That is the fifth longest throw in BCU history.
In the triple jump, sophomore Muluken Wempe was ninth with a jump of 34 feet, 11.25 inches.
Freshman Earle Johnson recorded PR's in the 100m and 200m dashes. Additional PR's came from freshman Ramon Harkins (100m), freshman Daron Jackson (200m) and sophomore Colin Rhynalds (200)
Briar Cliff hits the road, Tuesday, Apr. 23 to compete at the Dakota Twilight. The meet is in Madison, S.D.
