The Charger men's basketball team struggled offensively, falling to Hastings 71-48 in Hastings, NE Saturday afternoon.

The Chargers were held to 34% from the field and 29% from three in the contest.
Colby Collison paced the Chargers in scoring with 14 points while shooting 60% from the field in the contest.
Tyrus Eischeid and
Quinn Vesey both added seven points in the contest.

With 8:19 remaining in the first half, Hasting's Reggie Thomas scored a layup to push the Broncos lead to 16. The Charger offense struggled to find the bottom of the net in the first half, shooting 26% from the field.

Briar Cliff was unable to make up ground in the second half, and were outscored 36-29 in the second half.

The Cliff moves to 15-11 (9-9 GPAC) and will travel next Wednesday to Jamestown to take on the Jimmies. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:45 p.m.
