George Hits NAIA Qualifying Mark

BROOKINGS, S.D. – Senior Wilton George recorded an NAIA qualifying time in the 60-meters hurdles as the Briar Cliff University men's indoor track & field team opened the season at the SDSU Holiday Invite.

In the 60m hurdles, George ran 8.20 to place sixth in the prelims. In the final, he was sixth again with an NAIA "B" standard time of 8.14.

The Chargers received PR's from sophomore Ramon Harkins in the 60m dash, freshman James Nagle in the mile and junior Jayson Rucker in the 60m dash.

Briar Cliff is at the Bulldog Early Bird in Seward, Neb., Dec. 14.
