Five Chargers scored in double figures as BCU beat St. Thomas University in Miami Gardens, Florida Tuesday afternoon. The Chargers held the Bobcats to 31% shooting from the field.

Mallie McNair sparked a 14-0 run out of the gates. The Chargers held the Bobcats scoreless for nearly five minutes to open the contest.
Kennedy Benne in the first quarter recorded seven points to go with two assists and one steal.

Briar Cliff knocked down 10 threes in the contest, led by
Grace Flanagan who went four-for-eight from downtown. Flanagan and McNair led the team with 15 points. McNair also recorded seven rebounds and three assists and shot 50% from the field. Flanagan chipped in five rebounds, four assists, and four steals.

Benne finished with 14 points, five assists, four rebounds, and two steals.
Adrianna Webster recorded a double-double with 13 points and 13 rebounds followed by Mongan's 13 points.

The Cliff moves to 10-2 on the season, and will return to action tomorrow in Miami Gardens, to take on Aquinas College. Tip-off is scheduled for 5 p.m. CST.
